CALL FOR FEATURE ARTISTS 2011: SPRUCE GROVE ART GALLERY

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: JUNE 30, 2010

The Spruce Grove Art Gallery is currently accepting proposals for the 2011 Feature Artist season.

• A description of your proposed exhibition should be included.
• Send 8 to 10 numbered and labeled photographs or slides or digital files (jpeg) of recent work (these do not have to be the artwork included in your show). If you wish your photographs to be returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
• All images submitted must correspond with a numbered information sheet which includes: artist’s name, titles, mediums, sizes and dates of creation.
• Submit a typed biography, artist statement, and a résumé.
• All work must be “gallery ready”. Materials used must be acid-free (i.e. acid-free mats and backing). The framed work must have proper wire for hanging otherwise the piece will be rejected. See attached AAC Standards.

All candidates will be notified of the decisions of the Committee by August 31, 2010.  Featured exhibits will run for approximately 3 weeks. For further information, please call or fax 780.962.0664 or email alliedac@shaw.ca.
