Established in 1969, the Nikon Photo Contest International is one of the world’s most prestigious international photographic contests.It aims to provide an opportunity for photographers around the world to communicate and to enrich photographic culture for professionals and amateurs alike.

• Energy: Works that capture the energy of sights and subjects that inspire, motivate or excite you or viewers.

We are looking for images of wild animals that stand out from the crowd (a striking portrait that catches our eye or perhaps the image will reveal an interesting aspect of an animal’s behaviour).

Prizes:

• Grand prize for 2010: Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR camera
• Winner: Lensbaby Composer and a SmugMug Pro account.

With water conservation imagery as the key focus, the savewater! awards® photographic competition provides a unique platform for photographers to creatively demonstrate the importance of water and its impact on our future.

Theme: Water conservation.

Categories:

• Junior students (up to 12 years olds)
• Senior students (13-17 year olds)
• Open

Prizes:

• Junior Student – the winning student’s school will receive AUD $1,000 and the winning student will receive a digital camera and iPod shuffe. Finalists receive an iPod shuffe
• Senior Student – the winning student’s school will receive AUD $1,000 and the winning student will receive a digital camera and iPod shuffe. Finalists receive an iPod shuffe

The Sony World Photography Awards Professional competition welcomes both published and unpublished work to be entered within each category listed under the three main genres.

Prizes:

Winner of “L’iris d’Or” - Best overall photograph will receive:
